Since our establishment in June 2001 with 5 looms our capacities have increased to 24 looms at the existing facility – Plant I.
As per plan Plant II commenced production in third quarter of 2010. 6 looms running currently and additional 6 under way. By July 2011 a total of 12 looms will be commissioned operating full steam. |

State of art BCF extrusion lines have been installed to commensurate with the expansions in product capacity. |

Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001-2000 from TUV Rheinland, Germany is in place since 2004. |

Product line proliferation to high end products saw the successful introduction of 'Shaggy'rugs. |

From a humble 31.000 m2 land at the beginning our factory premises span
85.000 m2 currently at Unit I.
The new Unit II is coming up at a land of 60,000 sq. mtrs. |

Have been able to put on board prominent European /
Australasian retail chains as our customer. |
The above are important steps we have taken in order to
propel Universal to be recognized not only as a biggest
regional players of woven BCF rugs and carpets but a force
to reckon with globally.
Hence our promise to be a dynamic force with an ever upgrading and expanding profile is a realty.
In the coming period Universal would be introducing fresh
series of latest rugs and broadloom both in BCF and in Heat
Set. Accordingly attachments for Heat Setting and cabling
processes in our yarn department would be installed. We are
confident that with our existing customers base spanning
every inhabited continent, all our new products would
receive the same confidence from the market as in the past.
